After the huge success of his latest album ‘When It’s Dark Out’ and his single ‘Me, Myself & I’, which reached number 1 at the billboard rap songs, he is now back with his new ‘The Beautiful & Damned’ album. The American rapper will be performing for the first time in Luxembourg at the Rockhal on May 22 nd. 2018.
Arriving on-stage with a pompadour and a leather jacket, G-Eazy became known as "the James Dean of rap," but his music is much less troubled than that name might imply, having crossed over to the mainstream with his reinterpretation of the rock & roll classic "Runaround Sue." Born Gerald Earl Gillum in Oakland, California, G-Eazy launched his career while still in college at Loyola University in New Orleans.
Following the release of his latest album The Beautiful & Damned to widespread acclaim in December, Multi-platinum Rapper and Producer G-Eazy has announced his The Beautiful & Damned Tour. Having captivated audiences around the world as one of Modern Hip-Hops leading voices, the California based rapper will be touring Europe with his most thrilling material to date.
The Beautiful & Damned was released in December alongside a companion short film that was available exclusively through Apple Music. The extremely personal 20 track double album features a host of special guests including Halsey, A$AP Rocky, Cardi B, Kehlani, E-40, Charlie Puth, Anna of the North and more. The album’s lead singles No Limit (Feat. A$AP Rocky & Cardi B) and Him & I (With Halsey) have been streamed a combined 340million+ times on Spotify at the time of writing.
The Him & I star has a reputation of highlighting the best in new talent, having taken out the likes of Kehlani, Carnage, KYLE, Tory Lanez and Nef Tha Pharaoh on their first tours and this time round is no different. G will be joined by British rap sensation Stefflon Don and California newcomer Yung Pinch.
