DAILY THOMPSON is a German three piece that was founded in 2013.The three soundvisionaries mix their personal influences from early Grunge, Garage and Indierock to a massive overridden, extremly fudgy Superfuzz-Bigmuff!
Inspired by Fuzz Rock at its best they have crafted a gigantic sound that combines Noise, Indie-Blues and even Stoner-Rock with the usual Fuzz-, WahWah- and distortion attacks Daily Thompson stands for.
2017 the band also performed at the famous WDR Rockpalast Crossroads Festival and Daily Thompson shared club- and festival stages all over Europe with bands like Karma To Burn, Mustasch, Turbostaat, Greenleaf, Truckfighters, Lucifer etc.
2015 the band released a split 7” with US band Mos Generator and hit the road again - smashing their grungy fuzzy tunes at festivals and clubshows. 2016 the band released their second longplayer “Boring Nation” and the split 7” release “River Haze” was celebrated at the Reeperbahnfestival 2017! 2018 the band will record a 3rd LP with a bunch of raw new material!

Nach den ersten Sessions war eins sofort klar:
Dieser Sound muss auf die Bühne, und zwar schnell!
Anfang 2014 folgten wir einer Einladung nach München,
um dort unsere erste Show zu spielen!
Dass wir bisher keinen Bandnamen und nur zwei Songs
im Gepäck hatten, interessierte niemanden. Schließlich funktioniert diese Groovemachine mit dem Treibstoff des gemeinsamen Spirit.
Und unser Mut sollte uns Recht geben! Nach einer heißen Session waren Musiker und Publikum gleichermaßen elektrisiert.
So heiß gerockt entschieden wir uns kurz darauf,
unsere erste EP „let the spirit flow“ live und analog aufzunehmen. 2015 haben wir sie in kompletter Eigenregie veröffentlicht.
