Hailing from Moscow, Russia, Fanny Kaplan is an all girl, no wave/post punk trio. Named after Fanya Yefimovna Kaplan, a social revolutionary who shot Vladimir Lenin, their music is as uncompromsing and shrouded in intrigue as the historical figure. Back home they've shared stage with acts such as The KVB, Tropic of Cancer and DVA Damas.
