Shortly after moving to Dresden four years ago, the Munich native Kampfmann (aka Snigglz) started working at the club Altes Wettbüro where he met Baader (aka Bad Boy Baader), who, at that time, was already a fixture in the Dresden disco scene, having made a name for himself with his infamous Disco Dilettante parties. Together they are Kampfmann Baader. KK & MIR are part of the City Club Augsburg collective and organizers of the legendary Manege 8 parties. Their secret weapon : slower, darker techno. Two duos, and of course our gracious host Benjamin Nispel, who will rock this second edition of the QUEER SQUAD nights. Forecast : a hot night filled with delicious sounds, as queer as the first one!
Queer Squad ist die Veranstaltungsreihe für ein offenes, tolerantes Publikum, die mit heteronormativen und musikalischen Grenzen und Klischees brechen will. Dies geschieht durch performative Live-Acts, die ein vielfältiges Spektrum von New-, Dark-, Elektro-und No- Wave, Post Punk, Krautrock, Noise bis hin zu House, Techno und Electronica abdecken -und so Raum für Queerness und Diversität schaffen. Supportet werden die Acts von DJ-Größen aller Gender. Der Mainstream bleibt draußen. All genders are welcome!
