Their story began about a decade ago in Osaka, when a few middle school brass band members got together without much thought, and formed "We’re Kasu Kasu American Rozun Ska Band with Cutter Shirts”. Of course, the band’s original name had to be abandoned if not because of a certain venue, who said their name was too long, and was causing trouble for the graphic designer. The girls henceforth called themselves, the "ORESKABAND” for short.
The band’s first major debut came in the form of "Ore” in 2006, when they were still in the 12th grade. Before long, their success brought them before a stage in Austin, Texas -- SXSW or "South by South West”, which was immediately followed up by their full-album release, "ORESKABAND” in Japan and the US.
Their influence in the US reached an all-time high during the "WARPED TOUR 2008”, where these six girls hit 46 cities, a first for Japanese Bands, and even collaborated with Reel Big Fish and Katy Perry among others.
Over the next five years, they will go onto conquering Japan. Starting with "What a Wonderful World Tour 2008 - 2009”, "Rock in Japan Festival 2009”, "Summer Sonic 09” "Set Stock 09”, "ORESKABAND presents
ei-ei-oh!!! Tour ‘10”, and wrapping it up with the "Arabaki Rock Fest 12” and a live performance in the Tokyo Dome, with 20,000 people in the audience.
In 2013, the one and only all-female Ska band is pioneering unexplored musical territory, ready to leave their mark in history. ORESKABAND was invited to Sao Paulo, Brazil for the first time.
Their energetic performance was welcome by 5,000 audience.
In 2014, ORESKSBAND has released their best album and Mini Album "Carry on!” In 2015, Sax & Keyboard player MORIKO left a band due to her pregnancy.
In Nov 2016- ORESKSBAND released their original full album "SLOGAN”. This album is cheering album to all women in the world. They have welcome new sax player ADD to the band.The band had 2 shows in
United States since Warped Tour. Tons of fans still remembered their powerful performances.
2017 and Now- They keep rocking, and do European tour for 3 weeks from
Novermber.
