Its 2017 and the Slackers are back on the road again. They are bringing their blend of Ska, Reggae, Soul, and Rock N Roll to 100 cities in North America and Europe this year.
The Slackers were founded in New York City in 1991. Their style has been termed, "Jamaican Rock N Roll" and they have expanded this through their 15 albums and numerous other releases from 1996's 'Better Late Than Never' through to 2016's self titled album, 'The Slackers.'
This year, they are touring behind the re-release of their 1997 album, Red Light. This album was their second album, but it was the first that they did international touring behind. It features several of their most popular tunes, 'Watch This', 'Married Girl', and 'Rude and Reckless.' Its being re-released on 180 gram vinyl by Pirates Press Records.
They are currently planning on being in Europe through the months of October and November and have booked gigs in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, and Ireland.
