Formed in 1988 in Halifax, England, Paradise Lost is considered by many to be one of the pioneers of the Gothic Metal genre.
14 albums, and some “classics” later (Icon in 1991, Shades of God in 1992, Draconian times in 1995,…), the band has nothing to prove anymore and continues to release high quality albums and impressive live tours.
If last year was actually quiet for Paradise Lost –the band only played at some festivals like Roadburn and Hellfest, it will be totally different in 2017 ! First, they’re going to headline, again, some famous festivals (Download, Wacken, Motocultor,…) then they will embark for a big European tour to promote Medusa, the new album planned to be released in September.
First date of this tour will take place here, at Kulturfabrik (Esch/Alzette) on September 27 !
