Some of the biggest news last year was the announcement of Afterlife on Thursdays. This year the Italian duo Tale of Us, at the helm of curating the nights for our aural pleasure, return and take their concept to Privilege.
Afterlife is a collection of artists from Life and Death, Innervisions and Dystopian. As far as we can tell, this summer they're planning to rocket us into space with the kind of sensory overload that will bring us all to our knees.
There will be mesmerising beats and hypnotic rhythms, taking us on a journey to otherwordly dimensions by the likes of Âme, Antigone, Daniel Avery, Dixon, Jamie Jones, KiNK, Konstantin, Maceo Plex, Mano Le Tough, Mind Against, Nina Kraviz, Recondite and Rødhåd. We'll also be at the mercy of spellbinding live performances from the likes of Âme, Cassegrain & Tinman, Kettenkarussel, KiNK, Mathew Jonson, Monoloc, Stephan Bodzin and Woo York.
Also on the roster, Adriatique, Aether, Agents Of Time, Alex.Do, Amandra, Ateq, Baikal, Barnt, Black Peters, Cassegrain, Confidns, Darse, Denis Horvat, Distant Echoes, Etapp Kyle, Hunter/Game, Keith Carnal, Locked Groove, Ovend, Patrice Bäumel, Per:sona, Ryan Elliott, Ryan James Ford, Sa Pa, SHDW & Obscure Shape, Somne, Tijana T, Tin Man, Trikk, Vaal, and Voiski.
Of course, the hosts Tale of Us will be also at the decks every week as well as one special all-night set on 20 July. Something tells us this is going to be another season to remember.
Afterlife lands on the White Isle on 29 June with Tale of Us, Âme, Antigone, Patrice Bäumel andAmandra. The season runs for 14 weeks until 28 September 2017.
