Cardboard Hearts is a youthful upcoming Berlin-based band consisting of an American lead singer and guitarist, a Russian bassist, a German violinist, and a Danish drummer. David Mouriquand of Ex/Berliner described Cardboard Hearts as ″a young alternative/indie rock band, channeling the spirit of the British indie and the post-punk revival of the mid-00s. The obvious tonal touchstone on this minor indie gem is The Kooks.″ The band released their self-titled debut EP in March of 2016 and received great support in Berlin and radio time in Denmark and Luxembourg, After a successful release of their single "Blink of an Eye", the band is now launching their new album with a show on the 9th of December, at Junction Bar in Berlin.

The Yellow Walls.
It's all about the music. Drums, electric guitar and vocals. That's all we need.
It is hard to describe what we play, because we don't do a lot of thinking when we play. What you'll hear is what we feel. It might sound progressiv, psychedelic, hard rock, funk, punk, indie or whatever. That's not the purpose.
It may seem crazy, fucked-up, beautiful, magical, abstract, surreal, unconventional, boring, ordinary... That's not what we intend.
We just play music and we hope you like it.
