***In 2007, the most exotic of all US-underground bands with an already 25 years long history , announced a single, exclusive show in Berlin. At all times European music journalists experienced difficulties to decipher the Grand Seigneurs of grotesque and musical anarchy. After a memorable night, back in the USA, drummer Charles Gocher sadly lost a battle against cancer and brothers Bishop declared the end of the performance entity Sun City Girls.
10 years later, on November 8th 2017, Alan & Richard Bishop return together to a continental European stage as 2/3 of a trio for a one off. Unrock, musical harbour for both brothers in Germany, celebrates 25 years of its own emotional history. We feel honored having Alan & Richard Bishop together with freeform percussionist Chris Corsano with us that night, writing another chapter of that story …
