As an island regular and favourite, it was only a matter of time before Jamie Jones bagged himself a residency, and DC10 was an easy choice considering Jones' long-standing association with the underground music venue as both a punter and a player. Jones' Hot Creations label has gone from strength to strength and Paradise at DC-10 has provided the perfect setting to air new music and invite like-minded beat makers to give the decks a spin.
The line-up for this year has not been released yet but last year's was scorching. The opening party alone had the head honcho himself plus Dubfire, The Martinez Brothers, Nicole Moudaber, KiNK live, Silvie Loto, Route 94, Richy Ahmed, Patrick Topping, wAFF, Luca Cazal, Robert James and Russ Yallop. Throughout summer there were appearances from heavyweights of the scene including Joseph Capriati, who blew the roof at the 2015 closing b2b Jamie Jones, Carl Craig, Alan Fitzpatrick, Âme, Dense & Pika, Hector, Stimming live, The Black Madonna, Mathew Johnson live, Matador live, Eats Everything, Hot Since 82, Sasha, Sonja Moonear and myriad other names too numerous to name. The Paradise 2017 opening party will usher in summer on Wednesday 21 June and will run right through to 27 September.
