“Brisbane born, high-energy psychedelic butterfly, Gaff E transcends genres flying her own divine style. Her colourful performances are a wild, carnal, hallucinogenic, activating trip! Inspired traditional global textiles, exotic lands, tribes, and jungle animals, Gaff E is always cloaked in wild colours and creating art in her mind. Her performances leave you breathless and sweaty, just by watching them. More performance artist than merely musician, she has produced music with the likes of Thomas Bullock (Rub n Tug), Edu K, Kid Kenobi, Mickey Moonlight and Drugmoney. Her face-painted highness has performed and DJ’d major festivals including Glastonbury, Burning Man, Lovebox, Bestival, and Big Day Out (amongst others).”
Queer Squad ist die Veranstaltungsreihe für ein offenes, tolerantes Publikum, die mit heteronormativen und musikalischen Grenzen und Klischees brechen will. Dies geschieht durch performative Live-Acts, die ein vielfältiges Spektrum von New-, Dark-, Elektro-und No- Wave, Post Punk, Krautrock, Noise bis hin zu House, Techno und Electronica abdecken -und so Raum für Queerness und Diversität schaffen. Supportet werden die Acts von DJ-Größen aller Gender. Der Mainstream bleibt draußen.
