"Formed from hungarian screamo/crust/hardcore bands in 2012, OAKEN presents savage overpowering drift with grim, atmospheric sound adding instruments uncommon in dark hardcore music like percussions and synthesiser. Slow passages blow up into the mixture of crushing hardcore riffs and monumental, eerie melodies backed by wide range of vocals with fierce lows. 2 guitars, 1 bass, 1 synth, 1,5 drumkits and fell voices of collective desolation."
CVLT OF GRACE haben ihre neue Platte Tears dabei, und die hat es in sich: "The music is excellent, the sound (again masterfully done by Satanic Audio) perfect, and visually it’s stunning, printed on recycled stock. Despite its short run, it manages to cycle through several important topics lyrically (mainly dealing with political and social issues) and through a lot of contrasting, extreme emotions. Intense, heavy, and intelligent music. For fans of sludgy, dark hardcore, heaviness, and being uncomfortable."
