In 2001, Francisco Ferrer (Pacha’s Art director) proposed a monthly «Rendez-Vous» to Cathy and David Guetta. They introduced a new sexy and provocative concept: F ME I’ M FAMOUS into Ibiza’s most glamorous club. F*** ME I’ M FAMOUS was always a gathering of two clienteles: – The clubbers crowd, fan of electronic music and of the sound of David Guetta and Friends (Bob Sinclar, Martin Solveig, Pedro Winter, Arno Cost and Norman Doray) – The celebrities and other A-lister who fall in love with the creativity and unique atmosphere of Guetta’s event. Within few year the party became the most «hot event» for worldwide clubbers and VIP. Since the creation, FMIF has welcomed celebrities such as Eva Herzigova, Leonardo di Caprio, Dr.Dre, Black Eyes Peas, Kelly Rowland and Akon to name a few but also designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Dolce and Gabbana and Dsquared2 who also participated in this event (eg: JPG/FMIF 14th JULY Bastille Day). They all gather around the unique atmosphere, incredible sound from top dj, never seen before entertainment including amazing decor, dancers and fire works performance. F*** ME I’ M FAMOUS (FMIF) became «THE» event of the summer in Ibiza! Following this success, a concept of travelling FMIF is born going from international music meetings such as Winter Music Conference of Miami (Mansion club), Amsterdam Dance Event (Heineken Music hall), in London (Ministry of Sound), to Sao Paulo (Pasha club) more than 15 000 clubbers in Paris (Zenith), to the glamorous Cannes film festival and other event in Shanghai (Red Bar), and Beirut to name a few. FMIF World-Tour offers to selected club the opportunity to recreate within their club the magic, sexy and glamorous atmosphere of David & Cathy Guetta’s original party. By 2012, FMIF has developed a merchandising concept: 8 compilations-mixed by David Guetta, a DVD, a full collection of T-shirts, bathing suits, caps, glasses, jewelry, and a full range of beach accessories. About 6 selling points are set mainly in Ibiza but also through an on-line shop: www.fmif.fr. And in the summer 2012, FMIF became a pool party at The Ushuaia Hotel in Ibiza, every Mondays during two months. And, also developed for the first time a lounge club within Ibiza airport. ENJOY !!
