The original CLUB MONZA was founded by Thomas Koch (founder of the infamous Groove Magazine in Germany) and Patrik Dechent back in 1999 in Frankfurt/Germany and hosted 400 people. From 1999 to 2004 this innovative club branded its image through the meaning of its name – MONZA is synonym for RACING and drivers, including the playboy image of 60?s greats such as Steve McQueen, Jacky Stewart or James Hunt which attracts female clubbers.

Since 2003 Monza has been an established club night in Ibiza, and for what will now be 2 years in Sankeys Ibiza. This year Monza will act in THE BOX club of Sankeys and beside of elected line up the will show an incredible mapping 3 D show.

Artists such as LIVIO&ROBY, NIMA GORJI, RICARDO VILLALOBOS, TOBI NEUMANN, RARESH, FRANCIS HARRIS, MR C, VERA, JORGE SAVORETTI, BINH, JAN KRÜGER, MARTINEZ, TOM CLARK and DANIEL DREIER are already confirmed for the summer of 2012.

Monza Ibiza Founders Ariel Giordano and Patrik Dechent stay consistent in following their succesful music choice: “We believe in the combination of big names with new talent and local heroes.”

It is this eclectic approach that delivers our very own underground character, lived and represented by the Monza DJ family.
